These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are entered into by and between you (“Guest,” “you,” or “your”) and Michelle MacMillan (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and govern your use of this website and your stay at Michelle’s Garden Suite.

By accessing this website or booking a stay, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

Use of Website

This website is intended to provide information about Michelle’s Garden Suite, including availability, amenities, and booking options. You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only and not to misuse or attempt to interfere with its functionality.

 

Booking & Payment

Payment methods such as debit or e-transfer will be arranged in advance and are subject to approval.

For extended stays, a deposit or installment-based payment schedule may be required. Details will be confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms will be outlined at the time of booking and may vary depending on the platform or booking method used.

If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss available options.

 

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in and check-out times will be provided prior to arrival

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, but cannot be guaranteed

 

House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay for all, guests agree to the following:

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property

  • No parties or events

  • Maximum occupancy must be respected

  • Quiet hours must be observed
     

Michelle’s Garden Suite is a private, ground-level suite with owners living in the upper level. Occasional light noise may be heard.

Two friendly cats live on the property and may occasionally be seen outside.

 

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for:

  • Keeping the suite in reasonable condition

  • Reporting any damages or concerns promptly

  • Ensuring all provided items remain in the suite
     

Guests may be held responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.

 

Use of Property

The suite is intended for personal, short-term residential use only.

You agree not to:

  • Sublet or transfer your booking

  • Use the property for commercial purposes

  • Allow unregistered guests to stay overnight

 

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Your use of the property is at your own risk.

Michelle MacMillan is not responsible for:

  • Personal injury

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Interruptions beyond our control (e.g., power outages, internet disruptions)
     

Outdoor amenities, including the patio, fire table, and BBQ, must be used responsibly and at your own risk.

 

Privacy

Your use of this website and booking services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and design, is the property of Michelle MacMillan unless otherwise noted and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

 

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
